Insights: News Kilpatrick Represents American Community Bancorp, Inc. and American Community Bank in Merger with Alma Bank

On July 30, 2026, Alma Bank, American Community Bancorp, Inc. and American Community Bank announced that they had entered into a definitive Agreement and Plan of Merger pursuant to which Alma Bank will acquire American Community Bank. Following completion of the transaction, the combined bank is expected to have approximately $2.0 billion in total assets and 21 banking offices across the New York metropolitan area. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2027, subject to required approvals and customary closing conditions.
